I’m thrilled to premiere a new body of work, swan,swan, spiderweb, at the Cole Pratt Gallery, in conjunction with the PhotoNOLA Festival.

Inspired by fairytales, the series is populated with female protagonists grounded in the natural world. Some of the images reference well-known narratives, while others draw from recurring motifs within the genre. Using the language of symbols to weave stories from silhouettes, the images beckon us into the realm of enchantment.
